Hello there, thanks for taking your valueable time to read what this site is about, me.

I'm a young graduate who studied Game Technology & Producing at Saxion Enschede in The Netherlands. I like to play online games where there is interaction with other players. I've been playing League of Legends for a few years now and that I'm still playing it is interesting. This is because with some games, I will be done within a week or less, there will not be any content left to be played. But in online games, this is not always the case. Making a game interesting for so many hours is truly an impressive feat.

While studying, I lived in Deventer, I took the train to get to school. I have always thought that I was very good at taking feedback and improving myself through that feedback during my study. I liked working with other people so that I could learn more from them or help them with their problems. On the other hand, I also liked solving problems on my own. Sometimes this had proven to be bad habit of mine, where in which I would spent too much time on my own without asking for the help of other people.

Before starting this study, I had no previous programming experience so the first few weeks were interesting to say the least. I started out with actionscript 3 which I mostly used for 2D applications. I made my first game which was a basic platformer with a twist. I started on Unity after this and noticed Unity had a lot of possibilities. It was easier and faster to make something. Learning C++ afterwards was going back to the basics, a lot of debugging and getting used to the syntax. It took more time to get things done but I thought were even more possibilities then in Unity.

I have worked with the Unreal Engine which is one of the biggest market leaders in the gaming industry. The Unreal Engine truly shows what game engines are capable of. While it may have been hard to get into it, it was certainly worth it. Even if I am never going to use it again, atleast I have gained some knowledge which I could make use of in the future.

So here we are in the present, sort of. A lot of things have happened during the study, after the study. I have learned a lot about progamming and making games. I am still interested in making games. To my surprise, this hasn't been the case for a lot of my fellow class mates in my first lecture a few years ago. A lot of them quit the study because they didn't find it interesting any more or because they failed too many courses.

At this point in my life I have to decide what I want to do for the next few years, and that is where my story will continue.
