My first project in C++, quite the task. My group consisted of 2 programmers and 3 creatives (creatives model models, texture textures, listen to music and do more awesome stuff). We used the MGE to make a 2.5d fast paced top-down shooter. We used the Tiled editor for level design and added a bunch of functionality to the stock engine. Loads of debugging, fun and let's not forget planning,

 

After getting more used to C++ things went more smooth and it was easier to get features done and implement graphics artist's work.

 

While there is still room for improvement, I enjoyed playing the game but wouldn't play it for more then 15 minutes.

Requires oalinst for the SFML library sound part, optimized for xbox controller.
